Cheap Thrills Blu-ray Includes 45-minute Behind the Scenes Documentary

by on May 12, 2014

Own what Variety calls “a thoroughly nasty piece of work” on Blu-ray and DVD May 27.

Cheap Thrills follows Craig (Pat Healy), a new dad whose life is turned upside down when he is fired from his low paying job and facing eviction. However, when he and his old friend Vince (Ethan Embry) meet a wealthy couple at a bar they offer the two a odd and slightly dangerous way to financial security.

Below are the bonus features for the Blu-ray of the film. One of the highlights is a 45-minute documentary that chronicles the 14-day shooting schedule. From a fly-on-the-wall perspective, the short doc reveals the pressures and rewards of making E.L. Katz’s first feature in what seemed like an impossibly short timeframe. Another exciting feature is “Cheap Thrills at Fantastic Fest 2013″ where I bet you’ll be able to check out the impressively disgusting and offensive dares that took place before the movie’s screening.
